This is the way we repair corrupt JPG files
Option 1 (Recommended): Free of cost analysis of your memory card / JPG files
By sending in your memory card / images you can analyse them fully automated with the help of our VG Recovery-Server.
For memory cards, please read more at Memory cards.
VG Recovery-Server is based on our JPEG experts' knowledge, accumulating years of our experience in image restore. VG Recovery-Server is the result of united work of our software developers and our JPEG experts. To use the server, please download the client application VG JPEG-Repair Online

Option 2: Individual analysis of your broken JPG files
- We check if the restoring of your damaged images is possible.
- If neccessary, you can send your data carrier (e.g. a SD card, a CD or a DVD) directly to us per post.
- If the recovery of your damaged photo files is possible, we send the repaired JPG files to you (with a copyright-label), so you can decide, whether you really want the JPG files to be recovered or not.
- Finally, if you want the images to be recovered, you can select some or all images for restoring.
Checking damaged images and data carriers is for your information only and without responsibility. In addition, first you can see whether and how your photo files can be recovered and after that you can decide whether you want them to be recovered. We are sure that you can only profit with this service.
As you can see, it is important for us to be fair with our customers. We do not require a high payment for image restore software in advance, before our customers find out if their images can be restored at all.
Analyzing broken JPG files
We offer the possibility of examining damaged JPG files by our expert staff. If you want that your damaged images get examined, please visit Restore photos. Our staff will check the sample JPG files and will inform you about the results as soon as possible.
Please note, that there are better chances of success in recovery JPG files in the case that we get from you the original memory card (i.e. the memory card on which the failure first appeared). When you send us images copied from the original data carrier, you send us the 'failure with these files'. If we get the original data carrier (e.g. a SD card), we can better analyse the images with our special tools.
