This is the way we restore corrupt photo files
Option 1 (Recommended): Free of cost checking of your memory card / images
By sending in your memory card / images you can check them fully automated with the help of our VG Recovery-Server.
For memory cards, please read more at Memory cards.
VG Recovery-Server is based on our JPEG experts' knowledge, accumulating years of our experience in photo recover. VG Recovery-Server is the result of united work of our software developers and our JPEG experts. To use the server, please download the client application VG JPEG-Repair Online

Option 2: Individual analysis of your corrupt images
- We check if the restoring of your damaged photo files is possible.
- If neccessary, you can send your data carrier (e.g. a SD card, a CD or a DVD) directly to us per post.
- If the restoring of your corrupt images is possible, we send the repaired photo files to you (with a copyright-label), so you can decide, whether you really want the JPG files to be restored or not.
- Finally, if you want the images to be recovered, you can select some or all photo files for restoring.
Checking corrupt images and data carriers is for your information only and without responsibility. In addition, first you can see whether and how your JPG files can be recovered and after that you can decide whether you want them to be restored. We are sure that you can only profit with this service.
As you can see, it is important for us to be fair with our customers. We do not require a high payment for image recover software in advance, before our customers find out if their JPG files can be repaired at all.
Analyzing damaged photo files
We offer the possibility of analyzing damaged JPG files by our expert staff. If you want that your corrupt images get examined, please visit Restore photos. Our staff will check the sample images and will inform you about the results as soon as possible.
Please note, that there are better chances of success in recovery images in the case that we get from you the original memory card (i.e. the memory card on which the failure first appeared). When you send us images copied from the original data carrier, you send us the 'failure with these files'. If we get the original data carrier (e.g. a SD card), we can better check the images with our special tools.
