Steps in restoration of corrupt JPEG files with VG JPEG-Repair

1. Download VG JPEG-Repair.
2. Follow the instructions of the program. The JPEG analysis has three simple steps.
3. If the repairing attempt is successful, a new folder with all selected source files will be created. You have then the following ways to send us this folder:
   • As an attachment in an E-Mail.
   • As a download link in an E-Mail (e.g. with www.rapidshare.com).

4. After we receive the folder (or the SD-card) with corrupt JPG files, we send to you our order confirmation and an invoice. As soon as the invoice has been paid, we send to you the restored JPEG files.

The second possibility: manual repairing of corrupt JPEG files

The software VG JPEG-Repair has its natural limits. Behind all features and techniques, the procedure of repairing is an algorithmic process which cannot replace the JPEG know-how of an expert who has dealt with JPEG repairing since years. Apart from that, the most frequent data errors in JPEG files are unique.

That is the reason why we offer an additional possibility of examining a JPEG file, which could not be repaired with VG JPEG-Repair, by our expert staff. In this case you have the following options:

Request per E-Mail

Send max. two or three sample corrupt JPEG files to us per E-Mail. This service costs you nothing, as both parties benefit from such an examination. Our staff will analyse the sample files and will inform you about the results as soon as possible.

Sending in your data carrier

Another possibility is to send your data carrier (e.g. a SD card or a CD) directly to us per post. We will then examine the contents of the data carrier, which costs you nothing. Please note, that there are better chances of success in repairing JPEG files in the case that we get from you the original data carrier (i.e. the data carrier on which the failure first appeared). When you send us JPEG files copied from the original data carrier, you send us the failure with these files. If we get the original data carrier (e.g. a SD card), we can better analyse the JPEG files with our special tools.
